              City Battle

There are 44 territories available for conquest. A level 1 territory have 2 places, Ancient Dragon City and Thousand Streams City. A level 2 territory have 4 places, 3 new player’s City and the Dream Searching Port. A level 3 territory may have 38 places. The map illustrates the location and accessibility of the territories. The higher the level of the territory the bigger the return for the clan.

              Benefits of ruling a territory

A Clan can gain various advantages and awards from occupying cities.

              Protection Money

Every week, the conquered territory gives fixed protection money to the ruling clan. The higher the level of the territory the bigger the ruling clan will get.
A clan can get 10,000,000 in in-game gold every week for a level 3 territory, 20,000,000 for level 2 and 30,000,000 for level 1.
Protection money is given to the head of the ruling clan every Friday noon.
A mail shall be sent to the head of the clan and once the head of the clan reads and accepts the mail, the amount shall be added to his character

              Free Teleport

Members of the ruling clan shall pay no fee to teleport to the territory. (This is treated as a usage of the Teleport skill, with a 1 hour cooldown)
Players who are not part of the clan shall have to pay for teleportation services
Transfer skill has a cool down period.

              Map ownership

Ruling clan shall have their name placed on the map details.
Every time a player hovers the mouse through the territory location, the name and logo of the clan shall appear

              Occupy Territories

Occupied territories are marked by a color, and with the emblem of the occupying clan. Unoccupied territories are marked with a generic beige map color.

              Territory Selection

Each clan can attack only one territory every week
New clans can only attack rank 3 territories.
If a clan is already occupying a territory they can only attack neighboring or adjacent territories.
Only players who are members of a clan before 4:00 PM on Monday (100 hours before the start of the first War Period) prior to the battle schedule are allowed to join the War.

In order to declare war upon a level 1 land, you must already own at least 3 territories and at least 1 of the territory must be directly adjacent to it. And if you already own a level 1 territory, you are not allowed to declare war upon another level 1 land.

(P/s: Even up till now, only a couple of guilds in the original china version have managed to conquer the level 1 land.)

              Declaring War

In order to attack a territory, Clans must declare their intention for war at any City Battle NPC during the proper period every week.
No matter a territory is occupied or not, attacking a level 3 territory requires risk gold of at least 500,000;attacking a level 2 territory requires risk gold of at least 1,000,000, and attacking a level 1 territory requires risk gold of at least 2,000,000.
The bidding period begins every Wednesday at 7:00pm, and ends every Thursday at 7:00pm. GMT +8

Bidding for the right to attack a territory

If multiple Clans are attempting to attack the same territory, they must enter a bidding process throughout this period (Wed 7:00 PM & Thurs 7:00 PM) to determine which Clan will earn the right to attack a particular territory.
Bids made shortly before the deadline will increase the bidding period by 20 minutes.
These last minute bids can extend the bidding period in increments of 20 minutes only 4 times, or up to 8:20pm Thursday. The Bidding Period cannot be extended beyond that.

              Rules governing the bidding process:

Increments to a previous bid must be at least 100,000 more than the current bid.
The maximum bid is 20 million. Any clan that bids this amount automatically wins the right to attack the territory this week.
The gold used to bid will immediately disappear from a player's inventory.
Bids made to the City Battle NPC are locked and cannot be used by the player
If there is only one bid to conquer a territory by Thursday 7:00 PM, then the right to attack the territory is automatically given to the sole bid.
A system prompt shall be sent once the bidding ends at 8:20 PM
System shall also send out the list of all the war schedules to the entire server

Schedule shall follow the following format:

              1 ( Territory Name)
              Clan Name ( Attacking)
              Clan Name (Defending)
Schedule (which territory and what time) (War Time)

              2 ( Territory Name)
              Clan Name ( Attacking)
              Clan Name (Defending)
Schedule (which territory and what time) (War Time)

              3 ( Territory Name)
              Clan Name ( Attacking)
              Clan Name (Defending)
Schedule (which territory and what time) (War Time)

              After the Bidding Period

After the bidding period has ended, the game will broadcast an automatic message to all players announcing the attack schedule and clans involved. Furthermore, losing bids will be returned to the clan masters.

Clans that lose the bidding process will receive their full amount of gold via in-game mail.
Clans that win the bidding process will need to win the City Battle as well to receive a refund.

Bidding refunds after a City Battle
Clans that win the bidding process have the opportunity to receive a significant refund of the amount of gold they used to win the bid. This refund will only occur after the City Battle Schedule of Friday to Sunday every week, and will be automatically sent to the Clan master via in-game mail. The details of the different refunds are listed here.

Clans that win the bidding process but lose the City Battle will receive no refund.
Clans that disband after bidding, or before receiving a refund, will receive no refund.
Clans that win a City Battle for an unoccupied territory will receive a 90% refund.
Clans that win a City Battle for an occupied territory will receive a refund based on these factors:

Number of Clan Members that logged into the game for 1 week prior to the initial bid.
The average level of those active Clan Members.

              Battle Schedules

Right after the Bidding Period every week, a City Battle Schedule is automatically released. (You can view these schedules by speaking to any City Battle NPC). The City Battle Schedule begins every Friday at 8:00pm and end on Sunday at 11:00pm. This schedule is automatically generated and the assigned schedule and Territory informed of their schedule.

There are a total of 7 available time slots during the City Battle Period. These available time slots are listed here.

              GMT +8

              Friday

              8:00 PM - 11:00 PM

              Saturday

              9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon

              2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

              8:00 PM - 11:00 PM

              Sunday

              9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon

              2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

              8:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Clans that are occupying 3 or more Cities may only have a maximum of 3 Cities scheduled for a City Battle within the same time slot. So in theory, if we own 21 lands and above, its is possible for us to fight 3 wars at every timing for all 7 slots. In total max = 21 wars.

              Joining A Scheduled City Battle

All the Clan Members of both the attacking and defending Clan will be notified via an automated announcement when their scheduled City Battle is about to begin. Clan Members that wish to participate in that scheduled City Battle can speak to any of the 6 City Battle NPCs or 45 Teleport NPCs around the world to enter the battlefield, but must remember the City Battle conditions listed here.

There can only be a maximum 80 Clan Members present from each team in a single City Battle.
The City Battle must be ongoing to enter the battlefield.
The number of Clan Members currently in that particular battlefield is less than 80.
The Clan Member must have been part of that Clan for at least 100 hours.
Members of Clans defending or attacking multiple Cities simultaneously can select which City Battle to participate in by speaking to any City Battle NPC or Teleport NPC. Clan Members can freely switch between multiple ongoing City Battles by exiting a battlefield through the Battlefield NPC, returning to the world, and then speaking to a City Battle NPC or Teleport NPC again to enter a different ongoing City Battle.

              The Battle Front

Once the City Battle begins and Clan Members begin teleporting into the battlefield, there are some rules that will apply to them inside the City Battle Battlefield that normally don't occur in the normal world. These rules and conditions are listed below.

All Clan Members that enter a battlefield will have their vigor reset.
The Snuggle command cannot be used inside the battlefield map.
All flying skills and mounts are disabled inside the battlefield map.
Multi Jump skill is still enabled
All Land Mounts can still be used inside the battlefield map.

                Connection Settings

Clan Members that quit their Clan during the event will be kicked out of the battlefield map.
Clan Members can freely leave and reenter the battlefield map as long as they still meet the requirements to join a City Battle. See "Joining a Scheduled City Battle."

                City Battle Mechanics

                Non-occupied Territory

Conquering a Non-occupied Territory is very easy. The objective is simply to kill all the monsters in the area before time runs out.

Uses the same scene as during territory attack battles but without the buildings and support weapons such as catapults. Territory defenders are monsters instead.

The battle is concluded when all defending monsters are killed. The successful attacker wins and conquers the territory.

If there are still monsters that have not been killed after 3 hours, the battle automatically ends with failure.

After the battle ends, all characters will be teleported back to the “Castle Siege Monitor” which was used to enter the scene.

                Occupied Territory

The main objective of every City Battle is to destroy the opposing Clan's Central Tower and is the primary condition for victory. But there can be other conditions for victory, depending on what type of City Battle and if a Clan is on offense or defense. Listed here are the conditions for victory that must be met within the 3 hour time limit of each type of City Battle.

Clans on offense must destroy the defending Clan's Central Building.
Clans on defense must prevent their Central Building from being destroyed.
Clans on defense can also destroy the opposing Clan's Central Building to win.
Clans attacking an unoccupied State must kill all mobs in the battlefield map.

                The Battlefield Map

The City Battle Map is a 1 kilometer square battlefield with the offense and defense Clan Bases situated at diagonally opposite corners. All players start inside their respective bases at the beginning of each City Battle, or when they teleport into the Battlefield Map.

Each base is surrounded by an Outer Wall with 3 gates, with each gate flanked by 2 Arrow towers.

Inside the Outer Wall is the Central Building surrounded by 4 Arrow Towers . And behind the Central Building is the Revival Point, flanked by 2 Guard Towers , the Transfer Field, and the Battlefield NPC.

Both bases are connected by 3 roads at their gates, the East, West, and Center Road . There is 1 Arrow Tower per Clan situated along the East and West Roads, and 2 Arrow Tower per Clan along the Center Road . Catapults can only travel inside the Outer Wall of a base, and along these roads.

When viewing the Battlefield Map, Players will be able to see the positions of all ally Players and Catapults, but not the positions of enemy Players and Catapults.

                The Central Building

The main objective for both Clans to defend or destroy, this structure is what the City Battle all boils down to. The Central Building can be damaged by only Players and Catapults, with Catapults being the better options as they deal significantly more damage.

                The Arrow Towers

Arrow Towers are the main defensive structures used in the Battlefield Map. Players can build an Arrow Tower in their preset location by going to an Arrow Tower position, clicking on it, and selecting to build any of 3 types of Arrow Towers . Arrow Towers that have been destroyed during the City Battle cannot be rebuilt.

There are 28 Arrow Towers located in the Battlefield Map, 14 for each Clan. For each Clan, 4 of Arrow Towers are located inside their base, surrounding the Central Building . 6 are located along the Outer Wall, flanking each gate. And 4 are located along the 3 roads connecting the bases, 1 along the East Road , 1 along the West Road , and 2 along the Center Road .

It is also important to keep in mind that during the 30 second building time of any Arrow Tower , it has only 100,000 Health Points and 0 Defense, making it more vulnerable to being destroyed. It is unadvisable to begin creating an Arrow Tower while there are any opposing players in the vicinity of the Arrow Tower position.

Arrow towers cost 100,000 gold to build and cannot be rebuilt if destroyed.
Click on arrow tower basic build then choose the type of arrow tower you wish to build. After paying the required amount of gold, the arrow tower will start to build. Cannon towers have a build time of 30 seconds, during which the durability of the tower is 250,000, and defense rate is 0.
A completed arrow tower has 5,000,000 HP. HP regenerates to full in 20 seconds. Physical and magical defense are 100,000 each. Attack range is 30m, hatred distance 35m
There are 3 types of Arrow tower :
Rapid shot, damage=target level * 10, attack rate is 1.5 seconds.

Binding, damage=target level * 10, attack rate is 6 seconds. Has an AOE of 5m around the target. Each successful hit binds the target for 4 seconds.

Bursting, damage=target level * 10, attack rate is 3 seconds. Has an AOE of 5m around the target.

                The Catapults

Catapults are the main offensive weapons used in the Battlefield Map and can be found behind the Central Building, in front of the Revival Point. This location also serves as their starting point. They fire automatically at any target in their range, but only attack Arrow Towers , Transfer Columns, and the Central Building , and nothing else.

There are a total of 4 Catapults available to each Clan. Players can operate Catapults by purchasing a Catapult ticket from the Battlefield Vendor for 20,000 gold, standing close any of their Catapults, then clicking on the Catapult Ticket. 5 seconds after using the Catapult Ticket, the Catapult it was used on will begin to automatically follow the Player. Each player can control only 1 catapult. In a battle scene, 1 camp can only have up to a maximum of 4 catapults at once.

                Reminders when operating a Catapult

Catapults cannot be targeted, and cannot be destroyed. However, if the Player operating or being followed by the Catapult dies, it will instantly return to its starting point inside the Clan Base. Players will need to purchase another Catapult Ticket to operate it again.
Players operating Catapults will see a Red Symbol appear over their Character's heads. This symbol is visible to friendly and enemy players, making it easy to distinguish any Player operating a Catapult.
The movement speed of a Catapult is only 6 meters per second, and Players operating them must be mindful to not stray too far away from the Catapult following them, or it will instantly return to its starting point once it gets too far away.
The ideal distance for a player to be from the Catapult that is following him is indicated by a marker on the upper left corner of his interface. This marker is only visible to Players that are operating Catapults. Green is for a good distance; gradually turning Red if the distance is becoming bad.
Catapults can only travel inside Bases, and along the 3 Roads connecting both Clan Bases, and will be unable to follow Players that move outside those areas.

A summoned catapult will follow the owner player (a small yellow box will appear displaying the distance) and speed m/s. Control over the catapult will be lost if distance with the player goes over a certain limit. If the player stops and there are enemy buildings within the attack range of the catapult, the catapult will automatically attack the target. (Default attack priority is arrow tower, followed by main buildings. A player controlling the catapult cannot choose the target, but can choose the catapult location so that it is able to attack the desired target). Catapult damage to buildings is 100,000, with an attack rate of 3 seconds.

                Main Building

Main Building HP is 12 million with physical and magical defense at 100,000 each. HP regenerates completely in 2 hours.

                The Transfer Field and Columns

In the following battle scene, the arrow towers are located at 1, 5, 6, and 10. There are 2 teleportation pillars that can be seen, one belongs to the attacker and the other belongs to the defender. (The attacker is marked in red, and the defender is marked in blue.)

Transfer Fields and Columns are used as a quick means of transportation between Clan Bases and Arrow Tower Positions along the 3 Roads. The Transfer Field is located inside the Clan Base, directly in front of the Revival Point, while 4 Transfer Columns are located beside each Arrow Tower Position located along the 3 Roads in the Battlefield Map.

Players can bind themselves to a Transfer Column, and then use the Transfer Field inside the Clan Base to be automatically transported to the last Transfer Column they saved at. This is usually used upon a Character's death, at which point they return to the Revival Point, and can step into the Transfer Field to quickly teleport to the last Transfer Column they touched.

Once a Player has been teleported, he will need to attune himself again to a Transfer Column before he can use the Transfer Fields again. Also, Transfer Columns can be attacked by Players and Catapults and do not regenerate Health Points. Once destroyed, Transfer Columns can only be rebuilt 5 minutes later.

Teleportation zones can only teleport characters but not catapults. Each bind can allow only one teleport. If you wish to use the teleport function again after teleporting, you must converse with the teleportation pillar and bind to it again. Players cannot bind to multiple teleportation pillars at once. If you are already bound to a teleportation pillar and wish to change the binding to another pillar, the player must first manually remove the teleportation quest in the quest list

Enemies may destroy Teleportation pillars. If a teleportation pillar has been destroyed, it will be respawned automatically after 5 minutes.
